Widespread Panic has been together for nearly 40 years. Formed by original members vocalist/guitarist John “JB” Bell, bassist Dave Schools and late guitarist Michael Houser, who lived together in a suburban house in Athens, GA, while students at the University of Georgia. Later to be joined by drummer Todd Nance, percussionist Domingo “Sunny” Ortiz and keyboard player “JoJo” Hermann. The current lineup now includes Jimmy Herring on guitar and Duane Trucks on drums.
Almost 4 decades have passed since forming their original line-up in 1986, and Widespread Panic is still hungry to be the best band they can be, every single night, for their loyal fan base. Their accomplishments over that time are well-documented. During their impressive run, the band has released 13 studio albums and 43 live albums, selling more than 3 million copies as one of the most successful touring acts in the world.
This live photograph was captured December 30th, 2022 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN by Widespread Panic Tour Photographer Joshua Timmermans. This image is from one of three runs of shows in which the band has utilized projection mapping. Widely renowned for their live performances and mind-blowing psychedelic lights, Panic never plays the same set list twice, which requires instant programming adaption and technical finesse. A rare thing to see at a WP show, the band's Lighting Designer & Director Paul Hoffman and the team from Pulse Lighting utilized poster art by Helen Kennedy from ZazzCorp.

Widespread Panic believes that art education, and in particular music education, is integral to the overall development and advancement of children. Art allows for personal expression, appreciation of ideas, celebration of cultural awareness, sharing emotions, and gives purpose to life. Widespread Panic agrees with research findings that art education supports more traditional academic subjects as well as being a worthy pursuit in its own right.
Proceeds from the sale of this puzzle benefit the Widespread Panic Tunes for Tots program.
