Up Owl Night by Peter Loose - 100 piece jigsaw puzzle

Peter Loose is a self-taught artist who's known for his one-of-a-kind bird houses and animal shaped dulcimers - as well as his signature bright and brash paintings featuring unconventional palettes and saturated, vivid, dot-filled surfaces. Loose arrived in Athens, Ga in 1987 to begin working at the Athens Sandy Creek Nature Center.

Drawing on his time as a naturalist, Peter's work reflects his deep love of animals and the natural world. Most depicted on repurposed, found objects like roofing shingles, old canvas, window screens, and discarded wooden boards. In Up Owl Night Loose portrays his fascination with owls. Often painting into the late hours he seems to commune with the owl, both making their way in the night.

Loose and his wife, Sandy Loose-Schrantz, have also written and illustrated two children's books. "Bongo is a Happy Dog" and "Bongo Has Many Friends" following Bongo, a stray the Loose family rescued, as he explores the universe.
